Our Princess is our Queen

When we heard the Duchess of Cambridge was pregnant, we were very excited not only because the baby is the future heir to the throne but also we were so excited and intrigued to see what Kate's maternity wardrobe would bring...

And so far we have not been disappointed!

A girl after our own heart...Kate wore a Topshop polka dot dress to visit Warner Bros.

Kate looked radiant in this elegant sky blue dress by by Emilia Wickstead worn with Rupert Sanderson grey suede heels to a charity event hosted by  The Art Rom at London's National Portrait Gallery.

Bang on trend in Monochrome, Kate Wore a cream coat by Goat with  contrast collar Topshop dress when visiting the offices of Child Bereavement

Pretty in Print the Duchess wore Erdem to visit a Primary school in Manchester

Kate wore a beautiful apricot Tara Jarmon coat on her second wedding anniversary to visit Naomi House Children's Hospital in Hampshire.

Saving the best until last, Kate wore the most beautiful Mulberry mint green coat with a pillbox hat and those famous L.K Bennet heels

With 2 months to go, what is she going to wear next?

So proud to call her our Future Queen!

Back to Black

You would think that with the surprising presence of the sun recently, everyone would be eager to start bring the colour back out but...

Black continues to rule the Red Carpet:

Jennifer Aniston in Christian Dior at Call Me Crazy: A Five Film film premiere, LA.

Kate Hudson attended a Breast Cancer Research Gala in a jaw-dropping ruched black dress with thigh-high split.

Olivia Palermo at Pain & Gain screening, NY, sporting a black tailored trouser suit. Does she ever put her perfectly manicured foot wrong (even in tan heels!)? Her perspex clutch boosts her classic style.

Irina Shayk looked 100% appropriate in her Red Soles with a stunning black dress with criss-cross strap detail at the back to the Beautiful People Party, Greece.

So girls, forget colour,
remember black is always classic, stunning and stylish

The Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby (Martha's all time favourite book!) by F.Scott Fitzgerald is the classic tale of opulence and decadence; a glittering tragedy.  This spring comes the highly anticipated adaptation by Baz Luhrmann staring Leonardo DiCaprio as the fallen hero Gatsby and Carey Mulligan as the beautiful but damned Daisy Buchanan. The book transports you back to the roaring twenties with swinging music, beautiful dresses and extravagant parties.

Head over to Harrods who are launching a pop up "Great Gatsby" Jazz Bar from May 9th - 20th to celebrate the film's release. The store will transform its wine shop into an art deco inspired space where mixologists will give demonstrations and create bespoke cocktails whilst listening you can listen to 20s jazz.

If you haven't got the book already...(or even if you have treat yourself to this special addition)

Coachella

Long time no see! Hope everyone is well, we are so sorry for the horrific lack of posts lately. As most of you know with the end of term comes dreaded deadlines and then holidays have been so hectic! But we are back and we hope you will enjoy reading our posts to come!

SO I don't know about you guys but I am going to take a wild guess and say that you are probably just as fed up with the weather as we are! And so just to make you a little more jealous...

Coachella is the first big festival of the year and must be one of the most star studded festivals around! Set in California (unfair advantage!) summer trends and styling are on full force. At festivals pretty much anything goes...and on top of that everything always look better in the sun!

Here are our favourite looks from the festival:

Kate Bosworth in a white leather scallop top and shorts, she compliments the look perfectly with tan accessories!

Once again (unsurprisingly) Kate nails it in a midi black lace dress, we love the boots!

Here comes the sun...Solange Knowles is the epitome of summer in this yellow lemon Alice+Olivia shift dress

Whitney Port wears a white dress and a black dress, oh so simple...but oh so cool!
